About us

„Praise the Lord!

Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints!” (Psalm 149:1)

„Quo Vadis Music” it's a Christian-musical mission which has the purpose to use the music for preaching the Gospel of Christ, bricking the Church, fondling and encouraging the suffering ones, reuniting us to know each other better, reuniting in a single ideal and family all the people that were or are members of any Romanian choir or group named „Quo Vadis”, but the lovers of that musical genre too, preparing us to sing TOGETHER in that great day, to sing wonderful hymns to Whose that He has given Himself, giving us the eternal happiness.

There are so much common memories, so many pictures, videos, dates, that I finally realized that the existing of a dedicated site is more than a simply request. Already, through this virtual dais we would be able to find out each others, even to organize "Quo Vadis Choirs" Family's meetings/concerts if it's possible.

We will present here, with God’s will, some information about the „Quo Vadis” groups, choir or different missions inside the „Quo Vadis Music” ministry (historical, mp3 melodies, photos, videos etc.).

„Quo Vadis Music” - our known definitions and mottos

1. To give God all our best

He created us, He made all the things that makes us happy, blessings that are giving us all the happiness of an accomplished life. Why should we give our God-blessed energies to someone else? What for? God has given to us this gift of the music that fills us with joy and sense. Let’s give Him all our best, to the One who actually gave us that wonderful gifts!  Let’s give only to God all our best!

2. A definition of all who are or we want to implicate in this „Quo Vadis” mission it should be this one:

To be known by God is enough, the rest it doesn’t matter.”

In heaven nobody will be rewarded for the number of soled CD’s , not for the number of apparition of world’s stages, neither for the popularity on the internet or bookstores, but for the intention that we had in our hearts when we have sung something “for God’s glory”. Is it really our music created and dedicated to God, or for our usual pleasure?

Quo Vadis nostra musica?

3. The “Quo Vadis Music” ministry means that too:

“Our heart is joyful when we success to sing for God’s glory together.” That gladness is much bigger then the joy to sing alone (as a soloists). The church it's a body because “…for we being many are one bread, and one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread”(1 Cor 10.17).

Looking at the Bible sentence up, we can see the choir’s image is very close of the Church’s image (a painting composed by a lot of dots and component lines), then the soloist’s image (just a single dot), because we are all participating at the same activity, we all are sharing same joyful or work, same moments in the God’s House, or at our prayer's groups at home. It’s true – a soloist can sing for the Lord too, but much full of harmony and "spiritual reverberates sound" is the postmark of a mini-church named “choir”.

Let’s look forward for singing together to the Lord, because this it’s a wonderful thing which really builds and consolidates the church, reuniting our praises in a single balmy bouquet, loved so much by our Lord! (see John 17.11)

It is and it has to be always a real joy our reunion at the church or with our personal prayers, trough acts and common prayers, and of course – trough our common singing, for God’s glorify.

„Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” (Ephes. 5.19).

We are always gladding in the choir because of the art’s beauty which God left for us, together with the other nature beauties.

We are gladding together in a Hallelujah by Handel, a Psalm by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, a contemporary choir style or in the 100% Romanian carols...in every song (of any genre) which has the REAL gift of guiding our thoughts to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Quo Vadis” – legally recorded mark of a Romanian musical band

During the time, the using of the “Quo Vadis” mark, became very useful as a identity sign of our musical style, because many times we were asked: “you are singing a very different kind of music then the one in our Christian mass media. What that genre or style is called?” (people don’t know to define it). The “Quo Vadis” style  - it was and it is, we think, a comprehensive answer.

For reliability, please see http://www.osim.ro/publicatii/marci where the „Quo Vadis” mark for a musical band it’s recorded at the 081745 nomber, for the M 2006 11591 storage (published in secv. 8/2007 on the Eduard Stefan Teodorescu’s name). We think that it’s enough place for all to lift their hands and sing Halelujah to the Lord.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

Sing praises to God, sing praises!

Sing praises unto our King, sing praises!

For God is the King of all on the earth: sing Ye praises with understanding.

(Ps.47.5-7)
